Captivating and charming, these vintage wheat stalk floral earrings are set in 18k yellow gold. They dates from the 1960s. A beautifully crafted mounting of long spikes of gold whisping themselves into a perfect golden wheat stalk make this a fluid yet dramatic piece. Lining the center in a procession of blue and red and manifesting into shades of sophistication are round sapphires and rubies. The rubies have a total approx. weight of .30 ct. The sapphires have a total approx. weight of .20 ct. The earrings weigh 10.93 grams. They measures 1 1/16" x 1/2" at its widest". They are made for non-pierced ears, but easily converted into pierced.
