The interlocking open spherical links beautifully attach to the rich colored plique a jour diamond shaped pieces orchestrating a symphony of glamour around your neck. The plique a jour pieces feature a deep blue background with a red center and two blue circles on either side that have a magical translucence to them. Plique-à-jour is a vitreous enamelling technique where the enamel is applied in cells, similar to cloisonné, but with no backing in the final product, so light can shine through the transparent or translucent enamel. Quietly striking. It measures 32” long. The spherical links are 3/8". The plique a jour links measure 1 1/8" x 3/8". It weighs 55.83 grams.
