This amazing Ladies of the Maccabees pendant is a piece of wearable history. It is crafted from 18k yellow gold. It dates from around 1910. The unique shaped pendant is intricately and beautifully decorated with the center depicting the woman with sword and child. The bottom of the pendant has the words Ladies of the Maccabees of the world with the globe in the center. The back is inscribed to Minnie Wassler thanking her for her service. It is attached to a double linked curb chain. The pendant measures 1 1/4" x 1". The chain measures 16". The entire piece weighs 22.13 gram.s

Ladies of the Maccabees (L.O.T.M.) are a branch of Knights of the Maccabees who were originally founded in 1878 in London, Ontario, Canada, and later established in Michigan in 1884.
