This sensationally striking brooch is unlike anything you’ve seen before. It dates from the 1960’s. It is set in an 14k yellow gold bamboo inspired mounting . Resting in the center of the ridged textured gold are spectacular marquise shaped opals. The opals measure approx. 3.8 mm x 8 mm. each. The opals radiate fire in a lustrous way. Exalting the opals are a shower of round diamonds. The diamonds have a total approx. weight of .25 ct. The diamonds are H in color and VS2 in clarity. The brooch measures 2" x 1” . The piece weighs 15.62 grams. It is marked 14k. Uniquely beautiful and exceptionally unique.
